(October 2015, Dekalb County) Our client was a pre-med student at Emory University. He was walking from class back to his dorm. The victim’s parents sued Motel 6, its parent company, and the manager of the hotel for the wrongful death of their son. The property was found to have inadequate security and surveillance and the jury awarded the plaintiffs $6 million in damages.
